The "2023 Korea Food Show" (hereafter referred to as the Food Show) was held for three days from November 15 to 17 at Exhibition Halls 1 and 2 of the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul.
Celebrating its 15th edition this year, the Food Show was held on a much larger scale than last year, offering an even richer array of exhibits. The number of participating companies nearly tripled from 37 last year to 109 this year, and the exhibition area increased approximately 1.6 times, from 1,579㎡ to 2,537㎡.
This year's Food Show was themed "The Future of Korea's Advanced Food Technology (Food-Tech) Industry," presenting five collaborative models between agriculture and advanced food technology (Food-Tech) at the main theme hall. The major exhibition halls featured the latest in seven fields of advanced food technology (Food-Tech) and products: next-generation foods, innovative manufacturing, advanced food services (Food-Tech), consumer customization, ag-tech, eco-friendly biotechnology (Green Bio), and pet food.
Our company, Neocrema, conducted our exhibition at Booth B02.
Through this exhibition, Neocrema highlighted our strengths in various areas such as food-grade media suitable for cultured food and cultured meat produced using 3D printers.
A noteworthy feature of this exhibition is the 100% food-grade culture media made based on the materials listed in the Codex Alimentarius for food or food additives. The Codex Alimentarius is a set of standards for the safe management of food and food additives, organized as per manufacturing processes and specifications, and the specifications are set by the Minister of Food and Drug Safety according to Article 7 of the Food Sanitation Act.
The new food-grade culture media from Neocrema, made according to these standards, exhibits superior food safety and productivity compared to existing commercial media, showing promising potential for future development.
We appreciate your interest in Neocrema, as we continue to research and develop customized media tailored to different livestock species.
