The theme of this workshop, 'Development of Functional Natural Ingredients using In Silico Technology and AI,' was prepared with the plan to industrialize by developing new substances from useful natural materials by integrating cell culture technology, in silico (computer-aided virtual experiments) technology, and the recently emerging AI (artificial intelligence) technology, as the establishment of the cell culture industry base promoted by Uiseong County is becoming tangible.

The workshop commenced with the project explanation by Director In-Ho Choi of Yeungnam University's Cell Culture Research Institute, followed by four speakers, including Dr. Jin-Yeol Ma with domestic and international trends in natural products research and Dr. Seung-Man Cheon’s application of AI in daily life. The event concluded with a vibrant discussion moderated by Director Chil-Seok Yoon on 'Future Development Strategies for Uiseong County's K-U City Project' and 'Future Convergence Strategies utilizing the Uiseong County Cell Culture Industry and Regional IT Base,' engaging participating professors and industry stakeholders.
